Activity du jour: Flash Back to my Miss Pennsylvania Workout routine!!
When I was competing for Miss Pennsylvania, I did this 45 minutes workout routine with 5 pound weights...after I swimming for 30 minutes, and walking 3 miles. At the time, I didn't think twice about how difficult it was...and I did it 5 times a week and additional cardio the other two! I had my eyes on a goal and wasn't going to let anything stop me.
The workout involves hundreds of leg lifts, squads, and lunges...plus dozens of sets of bicep curls, triceps, and other arm exercises I don't know the names of! The key was low weight and high repetition! It was a lot...but like I said, if you have your eyes set on something you just don't settle for mediocre:)
Looking forward to some holiday themed runs later this week!!
PS--I just had to make today Christmas themed...hence the crazy tree ears I found in my roommates Christmas decor box:)
